Vern did our wedding and it was GREAT! I was surprised to see everyone dancing, he did a great job of getting everyone on the floor. He also did a great job of finding all the strange songs I requested. There was a time during the wedding where he played one of my rare requests and i screamed "omg this is my favorite song" and then he played another one back-to-back, totally made my night :)

We hired this company within days our our wedding. They listened to the style of our wedding and paired us with the DJ that they new could pull it off! They were spectacular. They mc'd appropriately and kept the music going just the way we wanted. They even dressed per our wedding attire. We would highly recommend this company.

I can not say enough great things about DJ Vern! We went to a wedding a few years back that DJ Vern was working at and we knew from that point on that we were going to use him for our wedding. From our first meeting to our wedding day he was very professional, enthusiatic about what he was doing, very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I was very confident that he would keep the party going all night long and he did just that and more! Our dance floor was packed full of our family and friends having a good time the whole entire night. He played all of the songs that I had requested and did a great job choosing songs on top of my request list that went along with our style of music. He also did a wonderful job with keeping the reception running smoothly from introductions, to announcing the special dances, to the garter and boquet toss, to the cake cutting. Not only were my husband and I completely satisfied with him, but so were our guests! He truely went above and beyond our expectations! I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone! You will not be disappointed if you choose Vern for your wedding or any other event!

Pyramid DJ's did not ask me to write this, but I am so happy with their service, that I am trying to get the word out on how wonderful they are! We had Vern at our wedding, and he was amazing. He is professional, talented, and fun to work with. I worried about our reception because we had a lot of guests who are not partyers or dancers. Lo and behold, he managed to get my reserved parents and my 93 year old grandfather out on the dancefloor, and I have never seen them dance in my entire life! He paced the party perfectly and was just right (not cheesy) when he was on the microphone. The guests seemed to have an incredible time and I received a multitude of positive comments from guests about Vern as they were leaving the party. Now that I realize what a difference a great DJ can be for a party, I am counting my blessings that we hired Vern!

The DJ really does make the party and he made it so great noone wanted to leave, everyone still tells us how great our DJ was. We just wanted you to know how pleased we were with Pyramid DJ's work at our daughter Meredith and our son-in-law Chevy's reception. We will keep him in mind if we have anyone who needs a quality DJ who does an excellent job and stays with the customized initial requests and who also sets the correct format of the evening. Also, we had no idea there was a connection with International Speedway Corp. and that they had DJ'd for my company in the past and I appreciated Vern letting us know. Pyramid DJ's were an absolute dream. I was extremely late in making final decisions on many of my receptions songs (as in the night before the wedding), but they still came through on all our special requests. I did not have a coordinator to take care of organizing all my events, but between Pyramid and the staff of my reception venue everything ran 100% smoothly. Things that I didn't even think of before the day of were taken care of. We had a tough crowd to get onto the dance floor, but he managed to get a good group going with his song choices. And most importantly all of our requests for songs to play and not to play were absolutely honored which was a very big deal for me.

It's a little over a month now after our daughter's wedding, and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to once again thank you for making her day so special. First of all, I really appreciated all the time you were willing to spend with us prior to the wedding to make sure you knew what the bride and groom really wanted in terms of their music choices, etc. I know we weren't always so good getting info to you on time, so I definitely appreciated that you took your role seriously enough to follow up with us on several occasions! 

I also appreciate all you did pre-wedding to make sure the sound system worked outdoors for the ceremony. My husband and I were very impressed with the fact that you were at the site so early and that everything seemed to work seamlessly. 

Then, there was the reception, which you basically managed to perfection. We loved how you took over and basically ran things flawlessly. You knew just what to do if things got quiet, you handled all the main events perfectly and your professionalism was second to none!

After seeing DJ Vern for the third time (First at my sister's wedding 3 1/2 years ago, last year at my brother's birthday and now at the anniversary party last Friday), we realized that he is the best DJ we've ever seen.  He is a fabulous entertainer, a fantastic DJ and a true professional.  He has my families and friends vote for the best DJ around.  We met him because my sister had called his company, Pyramid DJ's, for her wedding in1996 and he was truly amazing.  I recommend him and his company to everyone I know.  Keep up the great work !!

We went to the Fourth of July Fireworks at the Main Street Pier yesterday.  We met DJ Vern who was playing there for the day.  He did a great job.  He also played patriotic music in-sync with the fireworks.  We are going to hire his company Pyramid for our wedding in February of next year.  You should hire them too.  He was great.
